Job Description:
The ComCept business is a part of L3Harris Space Superiority Group and the Lead Systems Engineer will conduct hardware and software installs configure troubleshoot and repair minor software code on the USAFs NetworkCentric Collaborative Targeting (NCCT) system.
Essential Functions:
- Support DoD projects/programs with preference given to cross domain C4ISR and/or Information Operations experience
- Subject matter expert in System/network installation and troubleshooting
- Integration and application of hardware and software on system/networks
- Capability to troubleshoot problems at component system and network
- Frequently responsible for providing guidance coaching and training to other employees across the Company within area of expertise.
- Communicates within and outside of the organization which include customers or vendors. Communicates with leadership regarding matters of importance to the functional or business area. May conduct briefings with leaders.
- Work consists of making significant improvements of processes systems solutions or products to enhance performance of job area.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance with current 5year update
- Must have or be able to pass a polygraph.
- Must have or be able to get Security within a year of employment.
- Experience supporting DoD projects/programs with preference given to cross domain C4ISR and/or Information Operations experience.
- Experience using Microsoft Office products
- Physical Requirements: ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Up to 10% travel may be required
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Handson operational experience with Linux (CentOS/Red Hat) and Windows Server systems software installation configuring troubleshooting and repairing.
- Familiarity or experience with supporting major joint/combatant command software systems.
- Familiarity or experience with Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) and/or Air Operations Centers (AOC).
- Familiarity or Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker Kubernetes and DockerCompose).
- Comfortable working in a command line/nonGUI environment.
- Excellent people skills with experience leading and collaborating in a multidisciplinary diverse and dynamic team environment.
- Excellent communication skills (written verbal & presentation)
