The Team: Amazon Kids brings together all types of content that kids and parents love including books Audible books movies TV shows educational apps and games plus a childfriendly Alexa experience. It provides peace of mind for parents with awardwinning parental controls and monitoring through Parent Dashboard and a world of fun for kids where they can choose from thousands of the most popular titles and ageappropriate content all handselected by the Kids team. Kids is available on Fire Tablets Fire TV Kindle ereaders compatible Android and iOS mobile devices and compatible Alexa devices.
Do you want to create and deliver innovate consumer software products for millions of customers around the world We are growing and looking for a talented Finance Manager to join the Amazon Kids Finance team. You will have an opportunity to partner with business leaders to design architect and build innovative consumer products used every day by people you know.

The Role: Everyone on the team needs to be entrepreneurial wear many hats and work in a highly collaborative environment thats more startup than big company. The successful candidate will:
Work with finance and business users to determine and provide the metrics reports and analyses needed to manage and act on the business.
Perform various ad hoc analyses to help business leaders solve business problems and understand the financial implications.
Develop scalable solutions that utilize the highest standards of analytical rigor and data integrity.
Learn and understand a broad range of Amazons data resources and know how when and which to use.
Be able to thrive and deliver results in an ambiguous fastpaced and dynamic environment.
5 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
5 years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
Bachelors degree in finance accounting business economics or a related analytical field (e.g. engineering math computer science)
6 years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
6 years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models analysis and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g. financial savings operational improvements or customer benefits) experience
MBA or CPA
Knowledge of SQL/ETL
Experience working with largescale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)
Experience delivering forecasting budgeting and variance analysis and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
