The Department of World Languages at Calvin University invites applications for parttime instruction inGerman. The appointment will be for the fall and spring semesters beginning September 2025.
Requirements:
A masters degree or above or equivalent experience in German is ; applicants who also have five or more years of experience in teaching German at the beginner and intermediate levels (GERM 02 or equivalent) will be preferred. The ability to teach German courses (language culture literature) at the advanced level will be an asset.
All applicants must demonstrate the potential to teach effectively using a variety of methods and instructional technology as required.
A commitment to the Christian faith and a willingness to integrate that faith into classroom teaching and student development is essential.Candidates are expected to affirm theApostles Creed theNicene Creed and theAthanasian Creed.
