Job Description
Title: Government Compliance Intern Department: Accounting
Supervisor: Casper Kim
A. Primary Duties and Responsibilities may include:
1. Learning how to work across different functional groups to compile and analyze data track information and support the company or clients.
2. Reviewing subcontractor data to perform cost and price analysis commercial item determinations.
3. Working with the ERP system to research department/cost trends and model behavior to enable key stakeholders to make business decisions.
4. Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
5. Taking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about Accounting Purchasing Estimating and office operations.
6. Participating in process improvement initiatives within various functional groups to streamline processes and remove waste from standard work.
8. Preparing information for government submittal to remain compliant with government regulations.
B. Education Required:
1. Must be a recent graduate or actively working towards a Bachelors or Masters in Accounting.
2. Satisfactory completion of introduction accounting courses and a basic understanding of accounting and financial principals.
C. Experience Required:
1. Prior Accounting financial and/or cost analysis is a plus.
