We are actively seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our dynamic reporting and analytics team. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about data demonstrates strong autonomy and has deep expertise in the design creation and management of large and complex data pipelines.
Key job responsibilities
Design and implement data pipelines and ETL processes
Create scalable data models and data architectures
Drive best practices for data engineering testing and documentation
Ensure data quality consistency and compliance standards are met
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams on datadriven solutions
Contribute to technical strategy and architectural decisions
5 years of data engineering experience
Experience with SQL
Experience with data modeling warehousing and building ETL pipelines
Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language such as Python Java Scala or NodeJS
Knowledge of distributed systems as it pertains to data storage and computing
Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift S3 AWS Glue EMR Kinesis FireHose Lambda and IAM roles and permissions
Experience with nonrelational databases / data stores (object storage document or keyvalue stores graph databases columnfamily databases)
Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle including coding standards software architectures code reviews source control management continuous deployments testing and operational excellence
