Maths Teacher Hackney London
Salary: MPS/UPS (Inner London) TLR
Contract: Fulltime Permanent
Start Date: September 2025
A highly regarded secondary school in Hackney London is seeking a passionate and creative Maths Teacher to join its creative and popular Mathematics Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to become part of a school known for its commitment to academic achievement a strong sense of community and a focus on the development of both students and staff.
*Please note a TLR is available for a suitably qualified Maths Teacher to assume the role of KS3/4 Maths Coordinator*

Maths Teacher The Role:
- Deliver inspiring and engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 4 and 5 helping students develop a deep understanding and appreciation of the subject.
- Use creative and innovative teaching methods to engage students.
- Collaborate with the Maths Department to ensure the curriculum is delivered effectively and enriches students learning experience.
- Take on additional responsibilities such as curriculum planning or mentoring with the potential for TLR opportunities for those with the relevant experience.
Maths Teacher The Successful Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a proven ability to deliver highquality teaching that results in excellent student outcomes.
- A degree in Mathsor a related subject (2:1 or higher preferred).
- A passion for Maths and the ability to inspire students to excel in reading writing and critical thinking.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Experience or a desire to take on additional responsibilities with leadership potential.
- A collaborative approach to working with colleagues and a drive to contribute to the overall success of the department.
