Cedar Creek Motorsports is a dynamic and growing company dedicated to providing topnotch services and products to our customers. We are currently seeking a motivated and detailoriented Shipper/Receiver to join our team!Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving Incoming Shipments: Unloading trucks verifying the quantity and quality of items received and comparing them with purchase orders or invoices.
- Preparing Outgoing Shipments: Packing orders printing labels and coordinating with shipping carriers to ensure timely delivery.
- Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels tracking the location of items and assisting with cycle counts or physical inventory.
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Completing shipping and receiving logs updating electronic systems and maintaining accurate records of all movements.
- Communication and Collaboration: Interacting with vendors drivers and internal staff to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that arise.
- Equipment Operation: Operating forklifts pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment to move materials.
- Maintaining a Clean and Organized Work Area: Ensuring that the warehouse or facility is clean organized and safe for employees and visitors.
- Troubleshooting and ProblemSolving: Identifying and resolving issues with shipments inventory or equipment.
- Adhering to Safety Regulations: Following all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing stock
- Receiving stocking and stacking
- Pulling packing and loading
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong sense of time organization and urgency
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Able to lift over 50lbs
Education Experience and Licensing Requirements:
- High school diploma GED or equivalent
- 6 months logistics retail or customer service experience
- Basic computer and software skills
- Forklift certification within 90 days of job entry date
