Job Description:
The L3Harris Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) is looking for a selfmotivated highenergy individual to join our team. Successful candidates possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fastpaced environment. The ideal candidate thrives in a team environment and reports to the Manager of the Airworthiness Project Lead group.
Essential Functions:
- Works on multifunction and multidisciplinary teams to achieve company and customer goals
- Creates and reviews FAA and Military project certification plans
- Creates and reviews FAA and Military project compliance reports
- Tracks and reports certification project status and budgets
- Works to influence others to accept practices concepts and approaches to show compliance to FAA regulations and military airworthiness criteria
- Communicates with parties within and outside of the organization which includes customers or vendors
- Participates in process improvement initiatives and offers ideas for aspects of the ODA and company business that need improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
- Demonstrated experience with aircraft system design and integration
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Existing DoD SECRET Security Clearance
- Demonstrated experience with FAA and Military airworthiness certification
- Demonstrated experience with leading multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated Ability to communicate & influence leadership at all levels
