Job Description
Overview
Responsibilities
- Operates small and medium size cars 14 passenger nonCDL shuttle bus or our wheelchair accessible van to transport passengers to planned outings or medical visits
- Inspects services and cleans vehicles
- Interacts positively with residents family members visitors and other partners under a variety of conditions and circumstances
- Pumps gasoline and diesel fuel checks oil water and other fluid levels provides routine under the hood service inspections
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Licensure/Certification:Valid Ohio Drivers License. Must have a driving record that would be insurable under Otterbeins liability insurance.
Experience: Prefer related driving experience. Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
Skills: Ability to do pretrip inspection of vehicle; ability to communicate courteously and effectively with residents and other partners required; ability to find locations using standard and/or electronic road maps as well as written and verbal directions
