Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
A Family Nurse Practitioner is needed near Syracuse New York.
Located just five minutes from downtown Syracuse this opportunity is with an employersponsored primary care clinic offering proactive healthcare services to employees and their families. The clinic focuses on building strong providerpatient relationships emphasizing wellness prevention chronic disease management and occupational health services.
Salary and Benefits
- Base salary: $130000 $140000 annually
- Health dental vision insurance and wellness programs (coverage available for spouse or domestic partner)
- Paid time off plus 8 paid holidays
- 401(k) plan with employer match:
- 100% match up to 3%
- 50% match on the next 2%
- 3year vesting schedule
- CME allowance: 4 days off and $2000 annually
- Maternity and paternity leave:
- 6 weeks of full pay and benefits for birth parents
- 2 weeks paid leave for nonprimary caregivers or adoption
- Full malpractice insurance provided
Responsibilities
- Fulltime outpatient primary care role
- Solo provider at the site with Medical Assistant (MA) support
- Patient population: Employees and their dependents (ages 3 and up)
- Patient panel: 300500 individuals
- Heavy focus on chronic disease management wellness prevention and some occupational medicine
- Schedule:
- Monday/Friday: 7:00 AM 4:00 PM
- Tuesday/Thursday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Wednesday: 10:00 AM 7:00 PM
- Build strong lasting relationships with patients focusing on quality care and improved health outcomes
Requirements
- Family Nurse Practitioner degree (MSN DNP or equivalent)
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in New York
- Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Ideally 2 years of experience in family medicine or internal medicine
- Commitment to proactive patientcentered care
