Job Summary
Shift: 4th ShiftDays of Work: Friday Sunday
Work Hours: 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Work Location: Onsite (Mankato MN)
Starting Salary: $24.58 to $28.57 hourly Commensurate with Experience 10% Shift Differential Over $3hr Additional Differentials Attainable per the CBA Must Pass MIL STD Test.

Job Description
Operator arc and gas welding on a wide variety of metals and their alloys not requiring allposition welding. Includes welding on commercial and military fabrications involving critical safety and load requirements. Requires ability to plan layout and perform diversified fabrication work. Requires certification to qualified procedures in accordance with MilSTD 248 ASME Section IX or other code compliance specified by customer contracts (see section 11 (e)). Must determine proper machine settings gas and filler selections for particular base metal and process applications. Operates ring roller and associated equipment as required. Works from specifications drawings prints and welding symbols. Requires some supervision. Six thousand (6000) hours of experience required to become familiar with various basic trade fundamentals as applied in connection with millwrighting to acquire sufficient background to perform work. Performs other duties as designated by supervisor in the same salary grade or below.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Requires a vocational or high school graduate with courses in mechanical drawing shop mathematics and shop practices plus a formal onthejob training or equivalent program.
Must be a sole US citizen.
