The Production Assistant is responsible for supporting the Production team in the execution and maintenance of apparel Production processes. They will assist Production team members with operational tasks that span the full lifecycle of the Production process.
What Youll Do
Work closely with Associate Production Managers assisting with sample management data entry and departmental tasks.
Communicate crossfunctionally internally and externally with wholesale domestic and oversea agents vendors and manufacturers via email or in person as required.
Track bulk Production progress to ensure it meets required timelines exercising appropriate judgment to elevate issues/ delays as needed.
Manage and track samples ensuring internal deadlines are met.
Assist with the approval of bulk/TOP Production to ensure Lulus standards and guidelines are adhered to.
Organize sample racks as required by the Production team.
Act as point of contact between Purchase Order Assistants and Production team to ensure all PO details are maintained and accurate.
Create organize and maintain a Production bulk standard library which can be referred back to at submit approval stage.
As required support Production team in updating internal documents and systems.
What Youll Need
12 years of relevant industry experience
Bachelors degree preferred but not essential
Foundational knowledge of fabric garment construction measurements and fitting
Detailoriented organized and excellent time management
Ability to be proactive and a selfstarter
Ability to multitask and adapt to a fastpaced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Adapts to change quickly
Proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail Docs Sheets) and comfortable in retail systems (Netsuite/ PLM).
Work with a sense of urgency and experience working on tight timelines
Experience working with medium/ large scale retailer is a plus
