Job Description

Time Commitment: Approx. 5 to 10 hours/month

Overview:
The Womens Centre of York Region (WCYR) is seeking passionate youth leaders (ages 1624) to volunteer as workshop facilitators. This is a great opportunity to share your skills inspire others and gain meaningful experienceall while having fun!

Volunteer Roles Available:

Were looking for youth to lead engaging workshops in one or more of the following areas:

  • Beauty & Makeup
  • Art Activities
  • Social Media

What Youll Do:

  • Plan and lead workshops for participants aged 16
  • Share your skills and creativity in a fun inclusive and supportive environment
  • Collaborate with WCYR staff to ensure sessions are engaging and appropriate
  • Serve as a positive role model and help create a welcoming space
