About the Clinic

The Multidisciplinary Trauma Clinic is a comprehensive clinic that supports West Michigans only level one trauma center. Our clinic includes burn orthopedic trauma acute care surgery and physical medicine and rehabilitation. Our goal is to provide exceptional convenient and comprehensive care to patients who have suffered a traumatic injury. For convenience of the patient we can offer multiple appointments with different trauma specialty providers in one location. We are a fast paced complex teambased office that works closely with one another to provide the most optimal care for our patients. We rely heavily on each other to ensure our clinic runs smoothly. Patient care is at the center of what we do. We have an enjoyable and funloving culture here at the Multidisciplinary Trauma Clinic.

About Outpatient Clinics

Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.

Scope of work

Responsible for providing quality education followup and emotional support to the population and their families. Case manages the population throughout the inpatient and outpatient settings and measures outcomes to maximize continuity of care between the settings. Manages projects and programs related to clinical management performing quality improvement activities to measure program processes and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors in Nursing Required
  • Masters Degree in Nursing Preferred
  • 5 years of Relevant Nursing or CDE Clinical Experience Required
  • Prior Teaching with Patients of all ages Preferred
  • MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Required within 120 days
