Job Description

The Jr. Developer Program (JDP) Administrative Team is seeking a Jr. Administrative Assistant to support one of Amazons elite internship programs. This role is an exciting opportunity to learn how to run a global crossfunctional internship program contribute to careerchanging opportunities for students worldwide and continuously innovate on behalf of your customers. Jr. Administrative Assistants are key to planning and executing many of our daytoday programrelated tasks including recruiting coordination event planning project management and general administrative support. They integrate into their sites JDP population and create meaningful connections with other program participants. Jr. Administrative Assistants support the execution of teamlevel goals collaborate with team members communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders and contribute fresh perspectives to what we do.

Jr. Administrative Assistant candidates must be exceptionally organized and have excellent communication abilities. Candidates have an interest in launching new initiatives and enjoy the challenges that come with innovation. They thrive under pressure and seek opportunities for growth. Most importantly candidates are customerobsessed and regularly work backwards from their customer.

The Jr. Administrative Assistant role is an internship offered by the Jr. Developer Program. Jr. Developer Program roles provide several unique offerings that set them apart from other internship opportunities:

Yearround employment: 16 hrs/week during the school year and 40hrs/week during the summer and school breaks.
Flexible schedules: choose your working schedule* and adjust asneeded each school session to accommodate any class schedule changes.
Pair 1:1 with a handson rolemodel: your mentor provides the support guidance and training youll need to be successful at Amazon.

*Working schedules must fall within 8am 6pm Monday Friday. Alternative hours may be requested to accommodate programrelated events. All hours worked onsite at an assigned Seattle corporate office.


About the team
The Jr. Developer Program is Amazons elite yearround internship program for students interested in gaining realworld experience in Software Engineering Business Intelligence Engineering Data Science and Applied Science. The JDP is active at 15 corporate sites across the US Canada Spain and continues to grow. The Jr. Developer Program Administrative Team supports all operational aspects of the JDP including recruiting performance management engagement and fulltime conversions. Were continuously innovating on behalf of our customers and strive to be Amazons most indemand internship program.

Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university Bachelors or Masters degree program.
Graduating June 2027 and beyond.
Ability to work yearround until graduation (parttime during the school year and fulltime during the summer).
Ability to work 100% in person at an assigned corporate site in Seattle WA.

Majoring in Business Administration Human Resources Management or related field.
Interest in Program Management Project Management Recruiting or Event Planning.
Previous customer service experience.
Proven organizational abilities.
Strong communication skills.
Beginner/Intermediate Excel skills.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $20.19/hr in our lowest geographic market up to $38.37/hr in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
