Geotab is seeking a Product Marketing Intern who will support gotomarket strategies assist with product messaging and positioning and collaborate on crossfunctional initiatives that bring our solutions to life. What youll do:
As a Product Marketing Intern your key area of responsibility will be supporting the development and execution of gotomarket strategies including crafting product messaging assisting with competitive and market research contributing to product launch initiatives and creating enablement materials for internal and external audiences. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams including Product Management Sales and external vendors or partners.
To be successful in this role you should be a strong communicator with an interest in technology and storytelling and have the ability to distill complex ideas into clear compelling narratives. Youll need solid research skills attention to detail and the ability to synthesize market insights into actionable ideas. A basic understanding of product marketing principles customer personas and competitive positioning will be helpful. This is an entrylevel position so while prior experience is a plus curiosity adaptability and a willingness to learn are what matter most.
The opportunity

- Fulltime paid internship: Monday Friday37.5hrs/week.

How youll make an impact
- Assist in developing product messaging and positioning that resonates with key customer segments.
- Support product and feature launches by helping create internal and external enablement materials.
- Conduct competitive research and market analysis to identify industry trends and opportunities.
- Help write and edit content such as product onepagers pitch decks blog posts and web copy.
- Help with project management making sure deliverables are on track and notes/docs are up to date.
- Assist with tracking content and collateral creation submitting and managing upkeep of ticketing process.
- Support content management and the systems we use to organize and distribute internal content.
- Maintain product marketing launch/release calendar.
What youll bring to the role
- Currently enrolled in a postsecondary program in Marketing Business Communications or a related field.
- Excellent writing editing and communication skills.
- Interest in technology IoT SaaS and/or the mobility space.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and trends.
- Strong organization and project management abilities.
- Selfstarter with a collaborative teamfirst attitude.
- Experience with tools such as Google Workspace.
