Role Overview:
Deputy Chief Engineer is needed for the development of Collaborative Autonomy Software. As Deputy Chief Engineer responsibilities include; plan and synthesize necessary features for development to guide the engineering team weeks or months in advance into coherent logical and appropriately scoped work and events. Also align software state with desired Government objectives and integrate software with hardware systems.
Qualifications:
- Strong software background with hardware integration experience.
- Essential experience with operational testing.
- Excellent briefing and presentation skills; able to deliver technical information to a mixed government and vendor audience.
- Familiarity to expert level in communications network and frequency/spectrum management.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- Have the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
- TS/SCI clearance is highly desirable.
- Prior experience in uniformed or civilian service within a military department ideally in an RDTE environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree with 12 years of experience in software hardware systems integration and test with experience in autonomous platforms desired. Operational experience in uniformed or civilian government service is a plus.
- Masters Degree: with 10 years of experience in software hardware systems integration and test with experience in autonomous platforms desired. Operational experience in uniformed or civilian government service is a plus.
