Job Description:
This is an Inventory Management Support position in support of manufacturing operations. Candidate must be capable of performing all physical or administrative tasks involved in the receiving storing and/or distribution of materials parts supplies and equipment. Must be able to work in a fastpaced environment with a crossfunctional team.The primary duties of this role encompass a broad range of processes including the receipt and induction of parts ensuring precise inventory counts through methods like cycle counts and location audits and the selection and distribution of parts using various picking techniques. Additionally the role involves assembling work orders for kitted jobs that are prepared for production on the factory floor.
The position offers diverse responsibilities from retrieving parts to storing them in designated areas utilizing equipment such as forklifts waves pallet jacks and tuggers to safely transport materials. The stockroom team is tasked with assembling jobs by loading parts onto machines and upon job completion dismantling the parts from machines and returning them to inventory. Moreover the stockroom oversees the receiving docks managing incoming inventory and ensuring it is directed to the appropriate locations.The stockroom encompasses a variety of roles some of which involve continuous movement across different areas to fulfill the workload while others may require staying in one location for most of the shift to perform repetitive tasks. Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years work experience in inventory management or 2 years postSecondary/associates degree with 0 to 2 years work experience in inventory management.
