agriculture providing the necessary skills for continued education and employment.
Develop and deliver curriculum in food development floral design public speaking and
other agricultural disciplines.
Prepare instructional materials including syllabi homework assignments and handouts.
Enhance youth leadership development and integrate FFA as an essential part of
instruction.
Provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to compete in a global economy.
Stay informed on current agricultural practices and promote agricultural literacy among
students.
Initiate facilitate and moderate classroom discussions that encourage student
engagement and critical thinking.
Create lesson plans that align with school policies and utilize effective instructional
methods.
Supervise and guide students in Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) programs by
assisting in project selection maintaining records locating training opportunities and
making supervisory visits throughout the school year and the month of June
Attend all local fairs in June including but not limited to the Pulaski County Fair and
TriCounty Fair with students entering SAE projects.
180 day teacher contract plus an additional 20 days in June.
