Private Patient Account Manager
Location: Clifton Park TC York
Hours: 37.5 hours per week Fulltime
Salary: Depending on experience Benefits
Summary:
Clifton Park Hospital opened in 2006 and is located just outside York. The modern purpose built hospital has been rated Good by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and has firstclass medical facilities including 24 beds two theatres a day case unit a large outpatient department with Xray facilities and onsite physiotherapy including a small gym area. In 2018 the hospital opened a new outpatient department with 11 consulting rooms two treatment rooms and xray facilities.
The role:
Private Patient Manager this position will be the primary point of contact for enquires in relation to private patients being those generated from the public GPs or Consultants. The main objective of this role is to increase our insured and selfpay activity and create the best possible experience for all private patients from point of first contact to discharge.
Responsibilities include:
Assist Hospital Director in growing Selfpay and Private Medically Insured admissions to defined targets
Build and maintain excellent relationships with consultants and medical secretaries in order to ensure appointments are converted
To assist the central marketing team with the planning and delivery of national campaigns
Ensure the National Enquiry Centre and central marketing teams are provided with service consultant and pricing updates to ensure optimum service delivery
Act as the primary contact for private patients and key stakeholders
Monitor lost activity and conversion rates
Provide the information that patients need in order to make an informed decision
Ensure all records and reports are maintained and kept up to date
Develop an annual programme of consumer events; educational and sales focussed with suitable measurement/return on investment
Line management responsibilities for the Hospital Enquiry Handlers
What you will bring:
Marketing and or sales experience
Ability to manage a portfolio of private patients from initial call to discharge
Sound computer skills using the MS Office Suite and Web based reporting especially spreadsheet data creation and manipulation
Confident in engaging with a variety of people particularly in a high end setting
Excellent communication skills both face to face over the phone and in writing
