Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify musculoskeletal issues and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Provide evidencebased physiotherapy interventions to alleviate pain improve mobility and enhance overall functional ability.
- Educate patients on selfmanagement techniques exercises and ergonomic principles to promote longterm musculoskeletal health.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals such as physicians occupational therapists and sports therapists to ensure comprehensive and integrated care.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure and registration as a physiotherapist with the relevant professional body.
- Proven experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy with a strong understanding of manual therapy techniques exercise prescription and pain management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidencebased practice.
Daytoday
As an MSK Physiotherapist you will spend your days working directly with patients to assess their musculoskeletal issues and provide personalized treatment plans. This may involve conducting physical assessments delivering handson therapy prescribing exercises and offering education on injury prevention and rehabilitation. You will also collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care while maintaining detailed documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
