Reporting to the Facilities Coordinator the Maintenance Service Worker is responsible for performing general maintenance duties related to the operation of various buildings within the jurisdiction of the Facilities Manager for the Calgary Correctional Spyhill Complex.

The incumbent will interact with clients for the purpose of providing or receiving routine information regarding their needs as well as providing general labour activities at Spyhill Complex (Calgary Correctional Centre Calgary Remand Centre and Calgary Young Offenders Centre) as needed. This includes working in close proximity to inmates.
