About the opportunity:
We currently haveanopportunity for an experienced Technical Specialist to join our Comcare Workers Compensation team. You will besupporting the claims team ona diverseportfolioof claims ranging from new to long tail claims as well as completing reconsiderations and will beaccountable for providing coachingtrainingand advice to Case Managers onlegislativelegal and technical claim strategies.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering prompt and effective specialist technical claims advice
Working together with the Leadership teamto provide guidance and support to maximise outcomes.
Ensure compliance with all legislation industry codes and company policies. Actively monitor developments within the industry to continuously develop knowledge of insurance guidelines policy changes and modifications.
Identify opportunities to review develop and modify processes proceduresstandardsand guidelines that support innovation improved performance and improved customer experience
Your story so far:
Must have extensive experience in Comcare Workers Compensation claims role orsimilarrole
Broad knowledge of Workers Compensation laws and compliance obligations
Demonstrated experience in supporting Case Manager coaching decision making and technical claims management
Excellent people communication written and networking skills
Demonstrated ability to work towards set targets and compliance measures
Sound computer skills and an ability to prioritize
