Work hours: Full Time/Evening Shifts; (1P1A); Weekend and holiday requirements

FastPaced highvolume department averaging 200 patients/day
Heres What You Need:
LVN Licensed Vocational Nurse upon hire required and
6 months in acute care hospital setting or completion of THR residency program required
1 year experience in an Emergency Department Acute Care setting preferred
BCLS Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required and
NRP Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days required and
CPI Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually within 90 days required and
A high degree of confidentiality positive interpersonal skills and ability to function in a fastpaced environment.
What You Will Do:
Collaborates with team to facilitate hourly rounding and initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information.
Takes action to reduce/eliminate patient risks.
Collects data and reports significant findings to RN.
Safely administers medication in accordance with medication administration guidelines..
Uses nursing model to obtain adequate data to initiate implement and revise plan of care to meet patient physician and family needs.
