Work hours: Fulltime 40 hours weekly Monday thru Friday 8:00am 5:00pm
Travel: 25% to surrounding clinics as needed (mileage reimbursement provided)

Heres What You Need
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Associates Degree (preferred)
- 1 year Transcription Experience (required)
- 3 years Transcription Experience (preferred)
- Certified Medical Transcriptionist (CMT) or equivalent Work Experience Upon Hire (preferred)
- Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology.
- Demonstrated advanced typing skills.
- General office skills including proficient computer skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Possesses a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism.
- A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fastpaced environment.
What You Will Do
- Transcribes dictated reports accurately within established standards.
- Recognizes interprets and evaluates inconsistencies discrepancies and inaccuracies in medical text or dictation appropriately to clarify flag or report as needed.
- Translates medical jargon and abbreviations into their expanded form.
- Prioritizes dictated reports based on level of continuity of care needs.
- Edits for grammar and clarity as necessary.
- Produces a variety of documents including discharge summaries history and physical examination reports operative reports consultation reports autopsy reports diagnostic imaging studies progress notes and referral letters.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
