Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Scans and sends all daily cash transactions to corporate. These include but are not limited to jackpot checks currency orders backupwithholdings and child intercept payments.
  2. Maintains all vendor packet paperwork including the upkeep of vendor insurance certificates. Work with the compliance officer to ensure proper vendor insurance requirements are met.
  3. Daily scanning filing and organization of all paperwork.
  4. Creates and uploads any miscellaneous journal entries as needed.
  5. Regular and reliable attendance is a fundamental requirement of this position. Employees are expected to be punctual and consistently present during their scheduled work hours to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the business.
  6. Assists the Finance team with other duties as assigned.
  7. Performs all responsibilities in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming act Internal Control Minimum Procedures internal policies and procedures Colorado Limited Gaming Regulations and various federal and state regulations including any changes in regulations.
  8. Maintains alertness for the performance of all responsibilities and a general awareness of casino operations at all times. Keeps their supervisor informed of any concerns.
  9. Reports to Accounting Manager for instruction of any other general office duties including special projects as needed and directed.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Demonstrated knowledge of and experience using Excel and various accounting software; has the ability to learn other software programs as necessary. Has the ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure. Demonstrated experience problem solving organizing and prioritizing work.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Graduation from High School or equivalent amount of experience and education. One (1) to three (3) or more years of recent and related office experience. Gaming experience is a plus.

CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATION: Must have a valid and current State of Colorado Gaming License. Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.

OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES: Possess the ability to perform basic mathematical computations and work a 10key calculator by touch. Demonstrated basic computer skills data entry and filing.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Essential duties involve sitting while completing paperwork or using a computer kneeling and squatting. Essential duties require lifting up to 30 pounds to stack store or move general office supplies equipment and storage boxes. Essential duties involve a standard workweek with additional hours as needed.

COMPENSTION AND BENEFITS;

$18.00 an hour based on experience
