POSITION OVERVIEW: Were currently seeking a BRANCH MANAGER to join Team Texans at our Preston Forest Lane branch in Dallas TX. Your customer service skills sales focus and cando attitude are a must. If you love helping people this may be the right fit for you after all credit unions were built on the principle of people helping people. In the BRANCH MANAGER role you manage all sales service and operational functions within the branch. You also lead and develop your branch team with the goal of providing an overall excellent member experience through all branch interactions in providing solutions and products in meeting our members financial goals and needs!


Major Duties and Essential Functions

  • Create and maintain a sales and service environment within the branch.
  • Maintain a highly motivated welltrained staff who consistently offer excellent service to all members. Maintain effective employee relations within the branch.
  • Monitor key products and sales within branch to ensure profitable and sound business practice as well as the highest quality of service for the members.
  • Evaluate job performance of branch staff to ensure quality of work and service to the membership. Issue coaching/counseling as needed.
  • Apply and evaluate security and audit policies and procedures for the branch. Ensure that the branch is in compliance with federal laws and regulations.
  • Monitor branch activity including number of transactions volume teller errors loan volume teller and loan personal sales and new accounts. Track volume and issue reports as required by management.
  • Manage the safety and security of the branch. Monitor security policies and procedures for the branch and ensure branch staff is properly trained in this area.
  • Ensure branch staff receives ongoing training on security and robbery procedures products/services current procedures and all other necessary information.
  • Schedule adequate staff to ensure efficient branch operation. Utilize traffic pattern reports and sales volumes to determine true need.
  • Ensure at least 50% of your time is spent directly in branch sales including but not limited to loan interviews and applications processing and closing loans opening new accounts providing excellent service to members etc. May approve loans where applicable.
  • Ensure documents are properly reviewed and signed prior to leaving the branch. Maintain minimal QC errors and hold staff accountable to the same.
  • Assist staff members in solving complex problems or member issues.
  • Recommend implement and supervise the branch budget.
  • Remain compliant with all financial laws and regulations including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) as they apply to the duties of the position.

Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Only applications that meet the following requirements will be considered.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales and service experience in a retail or financial institution environment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a bank credit union branch or finance company or equivalent management experience.
  • Successful completion of a drug screen credit check and background check.
