**COMMUNICATION REGARDING TEST INFORMATION WILL BE SENT VIA EMAIL AND TEXT**

PURPOSE AND NATURE OF WORK

This is skilled work involved in the construction reconstruction and repair of concrete and masonry structures mostly sidewalks and curbs and related activities. Work is performed as a leader of a crew of Laborers. Constructs reconstructs and make repairs to sidewalks driveways and curbs and gutters. Builds forms pours and finishes concrete removes and replaces sidewalk paver curbs etc. Operates medium to heavy equipment in order to load and transport material and crew to and from job sites.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

Graduation from high school and some experience in the general repair or maintenance of concrete and masonry structures; or completion of a recognized apprenticeship which would indicate possession of the requirements necessary to satisfactory perform this work; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.

NECESSARY SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS

Valid drivers license required to apply. Possession of a valid Louisiana Chauffeurs License required prior to appointment

TYPE OF EXAMINATION Examination will be a performance test and applicants will be required to pour and finish a section of a sidewalk.
