The Opportunity
Monash University is seeking a highly motivated and accomplished Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (Social Work) to join our thriving academic community. As a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer you will play a significant role in the leadership coordination and delivery of research and teaching programs in Social Work. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to academic excellence shape the next generation of social work professionals and conduct applied research to inform policy and practice. You will make a meaningful impact in the community.
This role will coordinate research and teaching activities within the Social Work Department ensuring highquality delivery across our Masters Qualifying and higher degree research programs.
We are seeking a candidate with demonstrated scholarly and/or professional achievements in Social Work including a strong record of research publications and leadership. The ideal candidate will have experience in tertiarylevel teaching with a passion for delivering innovative and impactful learning experiences for students. Additionally the successful candidate will have a proven commitment to the development of Social Work as both an academic discipline and a profession with contributions to research and professional practice outside of tertiary education.

The Social Work department is an academic unit in the School of Primary and Allied Health Care Faculty of Medicine Nursing and Health Sciences and is located at the Caulfield campus. Our research has influenced and informed policies services and practices across the fields of child family and social welfare health and mental health criminal justice domestic and family violence alcohol and other drugs and more for more than fifty years.
