Major responsibilities for Adoption Workerworking with families and/or youth and prepare them for adoption mayinclude:
- Assessreadiness for adoptionby writinghome studiesexecuting the foster care licensing process and providing postplacementsupervision andsupport
- Serve youth in foster care as a Child Specific Recruiter toidentify permanent families foradoption
- Travelthroughout the state will reimburse formileage
- BachelorsDegree requiredinsocialwork or human services Social Work and/or relevant work experience preferred.
- Musthavestrongorganizationalskills abilitytomultitask and casemanageandkeepdocumentation up todate.
- Flexibility to work some nights and weekends in order to best support families andkids.
- The ability to travel to familyhomes.
- Must have a valid drivers license insurance and a reliable vehicle and be insurable under agencypolicy.
- Ability to work with and advocate for all clients served regardless of race religion disability sexual orientation or family type.
