Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and detailoriented Laundry Aide to join our Housekeeping team for the 2nd Shift (PartTime). In this essential role youll contribute to a clean comfortable and wellmaintained environment for our residents by ensuring the timely and efficient handling of linens and personal laundry. The ideal candidate is selfmotivated reliable and takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and care.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Stock linen carts and deliver clean linens to resident floors ensuring adequate supply on each shift

  • Collect soiled linens and personal clothing from the health center and return cleaned and folded items to residents rooms

  • Operate washers and dryers maintain equipment (including lint traps) and report any maintenance needs

  • Fold and finish laundry using flatwork finishers and irons as needed

  • Inspect laundry for stains damage or wear and set aside items needing special attention

  • Assist in inventory tracking and linen management

  • Maintain cleanliness and order in laundry rooms and work areas

  • Use equipment and cleaning products safely and responsibly

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • At least 3 months of experience in laundry operations (healthcare or hospitality setting preferred)

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Basic math skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions

  • Strong attention to detail efficiency and care in handling residents personal items

  • Must be dependable and committed to maintaining a clean safe environment
