Job Description
Bruno Hospitality is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of a fulltime Catering Coordinator. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contacts customers facetoface by telephone and/or email to confirm coordinate and update details for scheduled catering activities
- Details each groups catering needs which may include but is not limited to: menu planning meal time and room set up
- Tracks all guarantees and deadlines based on contract
- Coordinates with the Executive Chef and Catering Manager to ensure specified arrangements are carried out as planned
- Completes projects as directed in relation to the area of responsibility
- Assists in the coordination of department members that may include but is not limited to: Food Runners Servers Set Up Staff
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining excellent service to achieve guest satisfaction
- Assists management in communicating any changes or new policies and procedures to the department
- Any other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Passion for hospitality food and client service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Must be a problem solver ready to come up with onthespot solutions for problems that may occur in the FOH be selfmotivated and organized
- Computer skills a must and have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel. Familiar with sales systems such as Salesforce and Caterese
- Ability to work in standing position for long periods of time
- Be able to reach bend stoop and frequently lift 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds
