Responsibilities
Student Leaders work in the Office of Admissions to provide support and promote the various functions of the College including the recruitment and retention of students. Work approximately 16 hours a week usually Monday Friday with occasional evening or Saturday hours required. Interact with students faculty and staff across the campus. Organize and conduct campus tours. Assist the Office of Admissions with recruitment initiatives and marketing/social media campaigns. Work at the front counter and assist with general admissions processes such as answering the phone filing scanning data entry and other administrative tasks as needed. Work at Student Services events. Attend relevant trainings and meetings. Fulfill duties as needed in the Office of Admissions.
Qualifications
Be in good standing with the College and community. Strong desire to learn and participate in student leadership activities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to provide leadership and guidance. Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively in small groups. Open to learning new skills. Prior participation in a student organization or activity preferred. 2.5 cumulative gpa required to maintain the position.
