Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our Bone and Metabolic Health team. The Test Engineer will be responsible for designing executing and documenting tests to ensure the quality safety and performance of BMH medical devices and software. This role requires a detailoriented professional with strong technical expertise and a passion for advancing healthcare technology.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans protocols and procedures for hardware and software components of BMH products including DXA systems.
  • Perform verification and validation (V&V) testing to ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g. FDA IEC 60601 ISO 13485).
  • Identify document and troubleshoot defects collaborating with crossfunctional teams to resolve issues.
  • Design and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve testing efficiency.
  • Conduct risk assessments and contribute to risk management activities.
  • Analyze test data prepare detailed reports and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Support integration testing of hardware firmware and software in a simulated clinical environment.
  • Stay updated on industry standards regulatory changes and emerging testing methodologies.
  • Collaborate with R&D quality assurance and regulatory teams to support product development and compliance.


Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Biomedical Engineering Electrical Engineering Computer Science or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in testing medical devices preferably imaging or diagnostic systems.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards (FDA CE ISO 13485 IEC 60601).
  • Experience with software and hardware testing methodologies (e.g. blackbox whitebox integration testing).
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and crossteam collaboration.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced regulated environment with strict deadlines.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of bone densitometry DXA systems or metabolic health diagnostics.
