Description
Aerometals is looking to add the following position:
Painter
Pay range: $25 $35 hourly DOE
Schedule: Monday Thursday 7:00am 4:30pm & Friday 7:00am 12:00pm
The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to:
- Perform paint booth operations for aircraft parts.
- Demonstrate ability to stencil part mark as necessary.
- Perform prepaint operations such as sanding cleaning and masking.
- Apply air paint spraying techniques ensuring a clean and professional finish.
- Follow traveler drawing and specification requirements pertaining to application shelflife and storage.
- Coordinate with Quality and Inspection to ensure compliance with internal and FAA paperwork signoffs and quality specifications.
- Perform any other duties as required by the organization.
Qualification Requirements:
Education: None required
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with painting procedures.
- Able to use tools and equipment associated with the aircraft painting process.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds.
Experience: 1 year in the aerospace/automotive painting industry or transferable skills.
Training: On the job training.

Aerometals Inc. of El Dorado Hills California is a 40year veteran of commercial and military aerospace manufacturing. We offer a full range of production services including CNC machining and turning sheet metal fabrication welding assembly autoclave and precision assembly. Aerometals has significant experience manufacturing critical application militarized components to OEM engineering data for use on many fixed wing aircraft and helicopters. Customers include the US Military Boeing Lockheed Sikorsky etc.
With over 150 employees in 150000 sq. ft. of space Aerometals offers competitive salaries exceptional benefit packages and believes in a true worklife balance. The company has very low employee turnover. We are expanding because we just finished construction that doubled our size and have a 3year backlog in contracts.
