Location: 100% onsite
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Temp to hire
Schedule: Fulltime weekdays normal business hours
Background Check: Clear criminal background check required
IT Project Manager Responsibilities:
Plan lead and execute IT projects on time and within budget
Oversee technology upgrades installations and system integrations
Train and support staff on new and existing IT systems
Ensure compliance with data security regulations (e.g. HIPAA)
Serve as a superuser and trainer for the organizations electronic medical record system
Coordinate with vendors and manage IT consultants
Research and present technology solutions with clear analysis of pros and cons
Contribute to the overall technology strategy and compliance program
Perform other duties as assigned
IT Project Manager Qualifications:
1 to 5 years of experience in Information Technology
Strong communication skills; able to explain complex IT concepts to nontechnical audiences
Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred
Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team in a healthcare setting
Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science or a related field; OR equivalent work experience
Exemplary communication skills: written and verbal
