BSP Trans Inc. has been providing the Maine New Hampshire and Vermont areas with outstanding LTL transportation services since 1970. At BSP our team consists of a sixterminal network across our coverage area to ensure swift deliveries for customers. We have immediate openings for our CDL A Driver 1st Shift position Full Time Mon thru Fri Start: 8:00AM to 9:00AM based off the need of the business $30.50 per hour including a $3000 sign on bonus What you will do on a typical shift: - Operate vehicle in accordance with BSP Trans Inc. safety procedures and operating standards OSHA DOT and local state and federal laws
- Perform freight pickups and deliveries within the ME/NH area in accordance with company standard of customer service and professionalism. Deliveries include both commercial and residential
- Effectively communicate with dispatch for route updates and stops and any delays that are impactful of the daily schedule
What you need at a minimum to succeed at BSP: - CDL A with HazMat endorsement. If you do not have a Hazmat Endorsement we will help you obtain it
- DOT Medical Card
- A minimum of 1 year of verifiable CDL Experience
- Must successfully pass required DOT Drug Test and physical
- Clean Driving and Safety Record
- Must have a successful completion of a county level background check during onboarding
- Ability to exert physical effort in handling (pushing pulling lifting etc.) objects of more than 75 lbs
