Custodian

We are looking for a responsible Custodian to maintain our facilities. In this role you will perform various janitorial duties in our contact center restrooms break rooms and offices. Duties will include sweeping mopping vacuuming trash removal dusting disinfecting restocking supplies and other tasks as needed. Work will be performed under direct supervision and within the scope of company policy. The ideal candidate will have custodial experience with a focus in facility maintenance and a keen attention to detail.

What youll do:

• Clean building offices workstations and common areas by dusting wiping sweeping mopping vacuuming and emptying wastebaskets.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms refill hand soap paper towels and tissue.
• Maintain cleanliness of break rooms and common areas by wiping tables appliances and removing trash.
• Restocking paper towels cutlery hand soap removing trash and other duties as needed.
• Provide routine cleaning and maintenance of industrial equipment and fixtures such as soap paper towel restroom fixtures coffee makers refrigerators etc. You must alert your supervisor of any malfunction in a timely manner.
• Complete any requests within allotted time frame.
• Attend training and safety meetings.
• All employees are required to perform the following essential functions: demonstrate predictable reliable and timely attendance; follow written and verbal directions; complete assigned tasks on schedule; read write and communicate in English; communicate in person and by telephone in accordance with CyraCom policy; learn from directions observations and mistakes; work independently or as part of a team; interact appropriately with others including coworkers supervisors and customers; and work with supervision receiving instructions feedback coaching counseling and corrective action plans.

As a Custodian you must have:

• Experience with cleaning supplies equipment and health and safety standards.
• Strong time management skills
• Reliable transportation

As a Custodian you must be:

• Accustomed to working independently and completing tasks on time.
• Feel comfortable working as a team
• Reliable and punctual
• Detail oriented

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer and telephone skills
• Custodial experience

Compensation and Benefits:

• This position typically starts at $18.50/hour

Physical Demands:

• Requires sitting or standing for extended periods

• Extensive use of a computer and repetitive hand movements in the performance of duties
• Occasional lifting and carrying of material weighing up to 50lbs may be required
