The Joint Office of the Secretary of Defense Interagency Division provides expert support services to a range of customers spanning across the Department of Defense Federal Civilian and international markets. JOID provides a diverse portfolio of analytical and programmatic capabilities to help our customers make informed decisions on their most challenging issues.
The Industry and Security Analysis Group (ISAG) provides analytical technical and program support to promote grow and protect the U.S. industrial base. ISAGs support spans the Department of Defense (DOD) Department of Commerce and other agencies to deliver critical decision support to national security leaders. Our team informs policy decisions enables execution of comprehensive strategies and monitors and reports on the effectiveness of implementation. This enables senior leaders to execute strategies for developing and sustaining a robust industrial base that meets our nations strategic resource objectives. From policy to practice we are a team of economic and national security professionals providing innovative solutions for our Nations most pressing security challenges.
We have an upcoming need for Lead Counsel to provide onsite support at the Pentagon in Arlington VA or the Mark Center in Alexandria VA.
Responsibilities
ISAG has an upcoming need for an experienced legal expert to support DoDs input into both the CFIUS and Team Telecom processes. Roles will be onsite in Arlington or Alexandria VA. The candidate will support DoDs Global Investment and Economic Security Office in the development of risk mitigation options and the monitoring and compliance of Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) mitigation agreements. They will support the review of mitigation compliance which may involve domestic and international travel. The candidate will develop and maintain standard operating procedures for the mitigation of foreign investment risk in the areas of product integrity supply assurance collocation and technology transfer.
Qualifications
Required:
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Juris Doctorate with a focus on compliance.
- 5 years of total experience with 3 years in legal matters involving compliance and monitoring.
- Ability to travel.
- Able to work fully onsite based on client needs.
Desired:
- Experience in revenue recognition technology transfer Intellectual Property ownership product integrity and supply assurance.
- Military law background.
- Masters degree in the areas of Business Finance Economics or National Security.
