Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department managing a team of 5 staff members
- Lead and manage the monthend close process and preparation of accurate and timely financial reports
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisionmaking
- Collaborate with leadership to drive continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting
- Maintain and enhance systems including handson work in Deltek Vision
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field (CPA preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a controller or senior accounting role
- Strong proficiency with Deltek Vision is required
- Demonstrated experience in a professional services environment
- Proven ability to lead and develop a finance team
- Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills
