We are looking for a product manager to join the body worn camera team initially focused on helping to develop out body worn camera hardware. However the scope of the role can quickly grow to include software firmware imaging and connectivity. Candidates will have the opportunity to grow into this role but expectation is that the candidate has technical experience high attention to detail an interest in devices and great work ethic.

What Youll Do

Location: USA (Scottsdale Atlanta Boston Seattle Denver)
Reports to: Director of Product
Direct Reports: None

• You will work with customers and our customer facing teams to understand market needs and prioritize efforts to improve our products and solve customer problems. Youll work closely with our Sales Professional Services Software and Hardware Engineering Operations Marketing and Customer Support teams to define develop and launch product improvements and new features on our portfolio of existing and new camera products
• Deeply understand our products as well as our customers to be able to define product requirements and guidance on priorities to Engineering and Quality.
• Work with engineering teams and technical program manager to balance scope functionality performance and time to market.
• Creatively generate solutions to a wide range of technical workflow and business problems.
• Gather quantitative and qualitative data from field performance market and end users.
• Make data driven decisions when possible and fall back on wellsupported intuition when data is not available.
• Problem solve within constraints that truly exist and break through constraints that dont actually exist.
• Operate with autonomy while proactively reducing ambiguity for your team and your crossfunctional peers.
• Set performance metrics for the most important functions of the products and work with team to measure and achieve them.
• Improve customer satisfaction and reduce product return rates through incremental product improvements.

What You Bring

• Bachelors degree in a technical field business or equivalent work experience.
• Proactive and selfpropelled working style comfortable working through ambiguity and seeking out new directions to solve the higherlevel mission and goals.
• 2 years working on as a Product Manager on a Hardware / Software device.
• Experience working with quality test validation and overall product reliability.
• Experience solving hard user interaction problems with creative solutions that deliver simple customer experiences.
• Experience working with product requirements design user experience research and trial users to refine solutions.
• Proven track record of delivering successful products that achieve key business outcomes.
• Excellent presentation skills wellstructured written and verbal communication. Ability to adapt communications based on audience and produce technical marketing and customerfacing content when needed.
• Ability to multitask and handle incoming product requests while also delivering on roadmap commitments.
• Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally when necessary (15%).

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company meaning compensation is made up of base pay bonus and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 113250 in the lowest geographic market and USD 166100 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors such as: level function training transferable skills work experience business needs geographic market and often a combination of all these factors.
