Job Description
The Henry & Rilla White Youth Foundation a nonprofit human services organization is seeking a masters degree level counselor to work in the Tallahassee FL area serving Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) Probation Youth. The Program will include screening evaluating treating and case management of youth referred by the Department of Juvenile Justices. The youth being served are on court ordered DJJ probation and are required to complete these counseling activities to avoid advancement further into the DJJ system.
Essential Functions
- Effectively manages assigned caseload and contract expectations.
- Complete new Referrals Intake and Evaluation
- Formulate Individual Treatment Plan
- Conduct Monthly Treatment Plan Reviews
- Hold weekly Individual or Family Counseling sessions
- Maintain Census report and weekly Calendar
- Attend weekly supervision meetings in person by phone or video conference with licensed supervisor.
- Upload all reports in a timely manner

QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications include: Masters Degree from an accredited college or University in counseling social work psychology mental health counseling marriage and family therapy or related field. Training and experience in cognitiveBehavioral therapy structural family therapy and other behaviorallybased treatments are preferred (but not required).
