Job Description
This speech therapist will work closely with the special education teacher to deliver services prescribed by the students IEPs. In general there are small groups of 2 4 or individual therapy sessions. This is for students in grades K 4th with first and second graders taking the majority of the hours. This will be approximately 25 hours per week. If the speech therapist also has a special education teaching endorsement on a valid TN teaching license the opportunity could be fulltime. Opportunities for additional hours from a partner school are possible. This is a great opportunity for a young parent looking to work less than fulltime for a time period.
