We are seeking a highly skilled and technically proficient individual to join our team as a Associate Director. This position will focus on Transmission Planning. This role is aimed at developing internal expertise technical presence and market knowledge as well as overseeing the technical development of an engineering team focused on transmission planning and interconnection. The role requires a combination of technical expertise strategic operational management and service/product development acumen to support our clients effectively and drive the continuous growth and development of our services and products.

Strong understanding of FERC NERC and WECC regulatory requirements and standards (CAISO preferred as well).
Advanced knowledge of grid modernization and grid enhancing technologies.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
Independent critical thinking and creative problemsolving skills.
Proven team player skills with ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
Strong written and verbal communication skills excellent business and technical writing.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Bachelors or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering.
8 years of experience in power system engineering roles.
Experience in WECC Market.
Active participation in industry taskforces and/or working group.
Experience in managing and mentoring technical teams.
Experience or familiarity in power system analysis software (e.g. PSS/E PSLF PowerWorld TARA PSCAD and other transmission analysis tools).
