About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Operations to lead ouroperations division in driving efficiency innovation and excellence. The Vice President of Operationswill be responsible for planning directing coordinating and overseeing all operations activities within the organization. This roleis critical to ensure the development and implementation of efficient operations and costeffective systems that meet thecurrent and future needs of the organization.
What Youll Be Doing
- Establish implement and communicate the strategic direction of the organizations operations division.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while offering expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems.
- Work in conjunction with other departments to execute the organizations overarching goals and objectives.
- Identify recommend and implement new processes technologies and systems to enhance and streamline organizational processes as well as optimize resource utilization.
- Ensure departmental decisions and project plans align with the organizations strategic plan and vision.
- Establish communicate and enforce operationsrelated policies practices standards and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution.
- Administer the departments budget managing expenses and resources effectively and within regulatory compliance
- Present periodic performance reports and metrics to the Chief Operations Officer and other leadership.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in operations management incorporating relevant innovations into the organizations processes.
- Identify training needs and ensure proper training programs are developed and provided to departmental staff.
- Recruit interview hire and train managementlevel staff within the department.
- Oversee the daily workflow of the department ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations for departmental staff.
- Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Logistics Engineering or other industryrelated field is required; an MBA is preferred.
- At least10 years of industryrelated experience including a minimum of three years in upper management roles is required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Extensive knowledge of the principles procedures and best practices in the industry.
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite project management software ticketing systems and related software.
Additional Requirements
- Must pass a health screening and TB test
- Must pass background fingerprint clearance
- Valid Driver License
- Must be 18 years or older
- The ability to lift up to 30lbs may be needed during some job duties
