Job Description
Cordia Resources is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager to support a critical account reconciliation cleanup project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general ledger accounting and advanced Excel skills. This role will be handson diving into a backlog of unreconciled accounts identifying discrepancies and helping to bring our financials current and accurate.

Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile complex balance sheet and P&L accounts with a high degree of accuracy
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in historical transactions
- Support monthend and yearend close processes
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather missing data or documentation
- Document findings and process improvements for future reference
- Provide guidance or oversight to junior accounting team members if applicable
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Proven experience managing or supporting reconciliation or cleanup projects
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP complex formulas etc.)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience with insert ERP/accounting system if relevant is a plus
