As a Manager of Strategy and Analytics you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that ensure our success and longterm growth in the mobile products (phone tablet watch earbuds) for National Retail and Strategic Accounts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in strategic planning and business analysis as well as the ability to think and act strategically. They should also be a selfstarter with the ability to work independently be organized and able to manage multiple priorities in parallel. We are looking for a confident professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who is able to effectively collaborate with all levels of the organization.
In addition this role will lead adhoc strategy projects focused on growth initiatives and provide management support with thought leadership. The role is highly cross functional and involves collaborating with sales operations product and channel marketing teams. It involves an informed and consultative approach in a fast paced and constantly evolving environment. Reporting to the Director Strategy and Product Management the person in this role will support the departments objective:
Analyze performance data to identify trends opportunities and recommended areas for improvement
Develop a deep understanding of key customer accounts and identify new growth opportunities to drive incremental revenue and profitability
Lead and manage annual strategic planning process by collaborating with sales product channel marketing and supply chain teams
Lead ad hoc business strategy and process optimization projects to better understand customer/channel behavior with structured analysis and present findings to SVP Level audience
Program manage and support multiple strategic initiatives by developing key milestones KPIs/scorecards progress/issue trackers and reporting to leadership
Program manage and lead digital strategy initiatives with indirect channel partners by implementing best practices for online and omnichannel experience
Collaborate with a large and diverse team in the areas of strategic technical and operational role
Monitor and develop sensing on competitive sales Samsung market positioning and market share across all relevant categories and price segments
Lead the creation of all materials and briefs for internal SEA/HQ business reviews and customer meetings
Qualifications
6 years of experience in business planning and analysis
Bachelors degree in business administration finance accounting or a related field
National retail business experience is preferred
Expert level abilities in using Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and proficiency in analytics tool (e.g. Tableau)
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
Advanced level skill with Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Comfortable presenting to GM & Senior Director level leadership
