MiniCircuits designs manufactures and distributes integrated circuits modules and subsystems for highperformance radio frequency (RF) and microwave design sales and manufacturing locations in over 30 countries MiniCircuits products are used in a range of wired and wireless communications applications. Our products are also used in detection measurement and imaging applications including military communication guidance and electronic countermeasure systems commercial scientific military land sea and aircraft; automotive systems medical systems and industrial test equipment.
MiniCircuits sells its products to over 20000 customers globally through our direct sales force applications engineering staff sales representatives as well as through our extensive website.
Position Summary:
The Product Information Management (PIM) Systems Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the setup configuration and maintenance of our PIM system to ensure that product data is accurate consistent and readily accessible across various business functions. This role requires a blend of technical and operational skills to drive improvements in data cleansing data governance product catalog management workflows and integration with other systems. Experience with the outbound technology from the PIM will also be critical; specifically the Print integration for our product Data Sheet PDFs and website integration with Contentstack will be critical to the success of the PIM system.
The PIM Systems Administrator must have handson experience in Akeneo or other Product Information Management solutions.
Salary Range: $115000 $135000 per year
Key Responsibilities:
- PIM System Management:
- Oversee the daytoday operation of the PIM system (e.g. Akeneo or other PIM platforms).
- Subject Matter Expert for all product data entry classification and enrichment processes to ensure high data quality and consistency.
- Configure and optimize PIM workflows product data models attributes and product families.
- Control member accounts to align members to the proper access and roles within the PIM.
- Communicate with all PIM users about any planned outages version updates and new enhancements; and ensure they understand the impact as we keep our PIM system current.
- Data Integration & Import/Export:
- Work with crossfunctional teams (Engineering MarCom Sales and the Business Units) to define data integration requirements and ensure smooth data exchange with PLM ERP CRM and other external systems.
- Perform data imports/exports for product catalogs and content ensuring data accuracy and integrity during the process.
- Facilitate the automation of the outbound integration of PIM data with the Data Sheets and the website to ensure that there is one source of the truth for all products across all platforms.
- System Configuration & Customization:
- Assist in the configuration of the PIM system tailoring it to meet the specific needs of the Business Units and the Sales & Marketing teams.
- Work to implement the data governance required by the Business Units to ensure proper controls on data entering the PIM.
- Collaborate with technical teams to implement custom features modules or integrations to improve functionality.
- Stay updated on industry trends system enhancements and new releases to drive innovation within the PIM.
- User Support & Training:
- Provide support for endusers including troubleshooting issues related to product data workflows and system performance.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) problem solving guidelines knowledge base articles checklists or other materials to assist members with using PIM.
- Create onboarding materials to get new members uptospeed with the PIM.
- Conduct training for internal teams on best practices and efficient usage of the PIM system proactively offer this training in areas where the refresher training would be most useful.
- Data Quality & Governance:
- Implement data quality standards and governance policies to ensure that all product information is accurate uptodate and compliant with internal and external regulations.
- Perform regular data audits and cleanups to maintain the integrity of the product database.
- Reporting & Analytics:
- Generate reports on product data performance usage and system health to provide insights to stakeholders.
- Maintain records of system availability for our SAAS solution to ensure our vendors are meeting their obligation for uptime and availability.
- Support the development of dashboards and metrics to track the effectiveness of the product information management processes.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in information technology or related field.
- Equivalent work experience may also be accepted at managements discretion.
- 57 years experience in PIM Systems Administration IT role managing PIM Implementation or similar role.
- Proven experience as a PIM Administrator or similar role preferably with experience using Akeneo or other major PIM platforms (such as Informatica Stibo Systems or Salsify).
- Strong understanding of product data management data modeling and workflows within a PIM system.
- Strong understanding of upstream systems that feed PIM tools with engineering details from Product Lifecycle Management tools.
- Experience with Excel engineering software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
- Familiarity with the integration of PIM systems with other business applications (PLM ERP CRM CMS). Specifically Arena (PLM) Infor (ERP) Salesforce (CRM) and Contentstack (CMS).
- Knowledge of data management best practices and tools including Tableau Excel CSV XML and APIs.
- Experience with troubleshooting debugging and optimizing SAAS based PIM system performance.
- Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both technical and nontechnical teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fastpaced evolving environment.
- Certifications in PIM systems (e.g. Akeneo Certified Professional) or related fields are a plus.
