Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute subacute aged care and community services.
Northeast Health in line with theEnabling Infrastructure for Rural Regional and Remote Clinical Trials initiative for The Australian Teletrial Program access to clinical trials closer to home . Is recruiting to the role of regionallocated clinical trial startup coordinators with a key focus on the implement the Australian Teletrial Program (ATP) in collaboration with the Regional Clinical Trial Coordinating Centre (RCCC).
The Regional Clinical Trials Coordinator Study startup Specialist role is employed by Northeast Health Wangaratta and will work collaboratively with Northeast Health Wangaratta; Goulburn Valley Health and La Trobe Regional role will provide study startup coordination and consultation focused on the delivery of clinical trials and teletrials in rural and regional areas of Victoria.
Clinical trial coordinators play a vital role in the sourcing establishing promoting and assist in building efficient and effective processs and systems required to support the implementation of clinical trials with a special focus on Teletrials. They perform a wide range of duties including study startup activities support study coordination and consult on the provision of care and coordination of participants at every stage of their clinical trial journey.
The Regional Clinical Trials Coordinator Study startup Specialist will work collaboratively with clinicians and clinical research staff from a range of disciplines to establish clinical trials and teletrials in rural/regional Health Services.
