Job Description
TPG is currently seeking PartTime Test Drivers in the Greenville area to safely operate vehicles on public roads and conduct tire wear testing. This role is ideal for those:

As a PartTime Test Driver you will drive new and used vehicles through predetermined routes on public roads in multivehicle convoys. Safety is a top priority and we require all drivers to have an excellent driving record and at least 5 years of driving experience. Attention to detail is important as responsibilities include following detailed instructions for vehicle preparation operation and documentation of weather conditions accidents or other variables that may impact tire testing results.
While there is currently a high demand for test drivers hours and needs may vary. Therefore this role is best suited for those looking for parttime additional income rather than primary fulltime work. During busy times there may be availability for up to 40 hours as well as weekend work. However the typical schedule includes Monday through Friday with two 8hour shifts:
- 1st Shift: 4:30 am to 1:00 pm
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm
- Ideal candidate must be available for at least 3 shifts a week
Other important requirements and considerations include:
- Minimum of 5 years of driving experience with excellent driving record for past 5 years
- Able to safely drive in heavy traffic and adverse weather conditions including rain and snow.
- Safetysensitive position requiring all persons assigned to activity be drug free. Alcohol consumption is not permitted within 8 hours of any shift.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
- Able to sit for prolonged periods routinely exceeding two or more hours
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
